General information
The "Valle de Las Leñas"
is the most modern ski resort in Argentina. It is
situated 70 kilometers (43 miles) away from Malargüe
and 200 kilometers (124 miles) away from San Rafael,
Mendoza. Both have their own airport. The nearest
town to the ski resort is "Los Molles"
at a distance of 20 kilometers (12 miles).

Las Leñas has 60 kilometers (37
miles) of ski able trails between 2,250 and 3,430
meters above sea level. It also counts with a
great out of bounds area for its world wide famous
extreme skiing practice. It has got 12 ski lifts,
which can transport 9,200 skiers per hour, and
guarantee a minimum queue waiting time. They work
from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In Las Leñas everything is designed
of for the skier, therefore there will be no missing
details to assure his comfort. The base of the
mount is so near to the lodgings that you will
literally get to your room skiing.
