A beautiful party town with ever snowy slopes,
directly on the border of Switzerland, Ischgl remains
untapped by non-European skiers.The slopes are extensive,
high, great for intermediate skiers -- one of the
best in Austria. Ski lifts are new and efficient,
with six-person high speed chairlifts and gondolas.
The town itself is a small alpine resort built on
a knoll in a deep valley. No modern hotels seriously
upset the effect. The ski area is far above and
out of sight from the road; the base stations are
in town.Intermediates and experts will have a wonderful
time here. The area offers wide ranging, well groomed
trails and 60 miles of off-piste terrain. The Ischgl
ski resort is perfect for a mixed intermediate and
